St. Louis Housing Authority works to provide a stable future for individuals and families with access to safe, affordable housing. Our federally funded Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs currently offer income-based assistance to more than 20,000 residents of St. Louis.

SLHA's Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program aims to empower Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 families to achieve economic independence. Participants can earn money through an escrow account over a period of up to five years as they work toward their self-defined goals.
𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗙𝗦𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗖𝗩 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 $𝟭𝟬,𝟲𝟲𝟬.
