Stacy Taylor

Ms. Taylor began her tenure with the St. Louis Housing Authority in May 1996. She is currently the Director of Human Resources and has over 27 years of experience in Human Resources Management. As Director of Human Resources, Ms. Taylor is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the development, compensation, integration and retention of all Housing Authority employees. She is responsible for implementing and maintaining a centralized human resources program which includes developing, updating and administering the personnel policies and procedures, ensuring proper compensation of all employees and directing the human resources staff in writing a quarterly employee newsletter. Prior to coming to the St. Louis Housing Authority, Ms. Taylor was an employment recruiter for DePaul Hospital’s Human Resources Department in Bridgeton, MO. She was also a Human Resources Manager for Venture Stores, and assisted in opening several stores in the Dallas, TX area. Ms. Taylor has a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO.
